Corporate Team Building Scavenger Hunts

Meet The Crawl Masters

Our Crawl Masters are the cornerstone of our scavenger hunts and they contribute directly to the success of every event we hold. They are masters of text messaging, boosting guest participation, and facilitating challenges. Communicating completely through text, our Crawl Masters are extremely skilled at guiding teams safely through unique scavenger hunt experiences.

Heather, General Manager / Onsite Scavenger

Hunt Host / Crawl Master

Crawling from Colorado since 2015.

Planning and hosting events with Get-A-Clue gives me the opportunity to flex my improvisational skills and keeps my wit sharp and fast. The extrovert in me enjoys meeting fun new people from all over the world, and really loves the opportunity to emcee your event in person!

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures, you can find me on the mic for men’s and women’s flat track roller derby, reading books of both the text and graphic sort, tabletop gaming, travelling to new places, (there’s a good chance I’ve visited the venues you’ll visit on our adventure) or simply enjoying the natural sights and brewed wonders of the State of Colorado.

Star, Crawl Master

Crawling from Oklahoma since 2017.

The best thing about being a crawl master, is not only working in the comfort of my pj’s, but being entertained at what people come up with. The creativity in some of the challenges clients come up with blows my mind.

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures, I’m cuddling kitties, flexing at the gym, and avidly on the search for the perfect guacamole recipe.

One tip I would give my guests before I host them is bring your A game. This isn’t your average scavenger hunt. My style as a crawl master is to keep it light, keep it tight, and everything will be alright, alright, alright.

Julie, Crawl Master

Crawling from California since 2016

I became a Crawl Master after I was a guest on a Crawl and I wanted the fun to continue! I truly love interacting with people and love trivia – what’s not to enjoy!

I’m the busy mom of two great boys! I participate in, and volunteer for, the activities surrounding their sports and schools as much as I can!

One tip I would give my guests before I host them is come to have fun and don’t be inhibited! Participate! Participate! Participate! I’m here for YOU! I’m flexible, can give hints when needed and want to make sure you have a great time!

Amber, Crawl Master

Crawling from California since 2015

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures, I lead an eclectic and delightful life full of geekery, creative pursuits, and the joys of family and friends.

One tip I would give my guests before I host them is to get their emoji game on point because I’m totally down to drive our culture back toward hieroglyphic communication and if I have to explain what an eggplant signifies, it RUINS the mood.

My style as a crawl master is definitely flirty, funny and pretty sweet, but my humor is definitely weird. I love parties and people, and I’m very open-minded and flexible.

Gabriel, Crawl Master

Crawling from Pennsylvania since 2017

Being a Crawl Master is a bit like taking a fun virtual trip with your new virtual friends. You get to be (hopefully!) funny and entertaining and help guide a bunch of interesting people around a city that you aren’t currently in.

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures, I work in non-profit K-12 education, read a ton, act, write, and direct shows, quiz, travel, and play far too many video / board games.

Don’t be afraid to be a little ridiculous–crawls are more fun that way and creativity counts (for game-winning points)! As a Crawl Master, I’m a little silly and prone to making some memes on the fly to amuse my crawlers.

Sean, Crawl Master

Crawling from Minnesota since 2015

It’s a ton of fun to (virtually) watch people break out of their comfort zone and engage in the challenges that we present to them. Being able to playfully banter with the clients keeps me on my toes, and definitely makes things that much more entertaining.

I am a stay-at-home parent who runs a pub quiz and gets to commentate on international roller derby. I also spend too much time playing video games or watching movies.

Be prepared to cut loose and have fun. I will be your biggest cheerleader, rooting for your enjoyment and engagement from before the first clue through the final team photo.

Angela, Crawl Master

Crawling from Colorado since 2017

I’ve loved working for Get-A-Clue because I get to be myself and socialize with incredible people! I’ve also been described as kind, which means that I ensure that our clients are having a fun time.

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures, I’m actually studying for my Master’s – I’m nearly done now, so that’s exciting (i.e. cripplingly frightening)! I’m starting my internship in the fall, and then I’ll be graduating and going into the “real” world – yikes!

To wrap this all up, you should expect a lot of smiles, laughter, and puns/word-plays with me!

Miles, Crawl Master

Crawling from California since 2015

My favorite part of being a crawl master is watching teams piece together a particularly challenging answer, or nail a challenge.

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures, I can usually be found puppeteering, drawing, or hosting other events.

One tip I would give is that we are building teams in this crawl; in that sense, you’re all winners and that’s great. But never forget: the people who win are the real winners. Stay competitive! I try to follow my teams’ inclinations. If they’re intense, and competitive, I can provide them with clear and quick clues and responses. But my favorite is when they’re up for a more playful time.

Brooke, Crawl Master

Crawling from New Jersey since 2016

I enjoy being a crawl master because I love giving my teams an exciting, fun, and unique night out.

When I’m not mastering crawls for Get-A-Clue Adventures I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, lounging with my dog, going to concerts, and knocking bowling pins down.

One tip I would give my guests before I host them is let loose, get goofy, and embrace a competitive spirit. If I’m your host, you can expect 40% cheesy jokes, 40% witty comebacks, and 20% bad puns.

Dani, Crawl Master

Crawling from Minnesota since 2015

I love being a crawl master because I get to help people be their most fun, silly, and exciting selves.

When I’m not being your crawl master, I work for a top online retailer as a project manager. In my spare time, I host trivia, announce roller derby, and read an obscene amount of books.

One tip I would give my teams before they begin is to get in the mood by picking a silly team name and taking a creative team photo.I see myself as an ambassador of fun, here to guide and encourage you to bond through creative challenges, problem solving trivia, and creating unique memories with your compatriots.

Samuel, Crawl Master

Crawling from Colorado since 2017

Being a crawl master with Get-A-Clue is the ideal job for me.

When I’m not engaged by Get-A-Clue, or running errands for my boss (the kid), I am a creative of all different manners. I’m a man of words and letters.

The best advice I can give to you as you prepare for your crawl is to make sure that the captains of your teams are the folks who’ve got the best phone connection. As your crawl master, I strive to provide you with a fun and memorable experience that you would feel comfortable sharing, this way we can make sure that everyone has a great time!
